Process and Requirements

Brisbane Angels offers early stage businesses the opportunity to attract investment and time from experienced professionals. Guidelines for the investment criteria are:

Located in Brisbane (within driving range)
Addressing a significant and compelling business need
Fast-growth segment and market size enabling better than 10x return in 4-8 years
Validation from lead customers
Protectable technology or business model with which to leverage a return
"Coachable" and qualified management team
Reasonable exit in 4-8 years
Business seeking $50-$500k in equity capital
Angel investors expect >10% equity

Assessment for funding needs to be submitted through Angelsoft. The application normally costs AUD$150 to submit but for a limited time Free.

The completed application form is reviewed by a pre-screening committee made up of angel investors, those of interest will be invited to present to the screening committee and the top ranked businesses will be invited to present at our Breakfast meeting.
